Cindy Crawford

Cindy Crawford has admitted that she wants to be a 'MILF', an abbreviated slang term used to describe a sexy woman who has children
The 43-year-old supermodel, who is married to Rande Gerber, hopes that people still find her attractive, even though she is mother to two kids, Presley, 10, and Kaia, seven.

"I don't want to be a cougar, I want to be a MILF. I hate that word cougar and what it represents. MILF is a word I absolutely love,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying. "I like that tag because I think there is a worry for all models that the moment you have kids the perception of you is going to change," she added.

Crawford thinks that the ageing process has affected her personality. She told Britain's GQ magazine: "Age can be daunting, but you can't stop it. I know 20-year-old guys don't look at me anymore. I don't feel it like I used to. I remember walking down streets in New York at the height of my modelling career, my hair up, and all the construction guys would go crazy. It's different now."

Bruce Springsteen

Singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash has been nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award for "Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals" for "Sea of Heartbreak," a duet with Bruce Springsteen that appears on her critically acclaimed album The List. This is Cash's ninth career nomination. She won a Grammy Award in 1985 for "Best Country Vocal Performance, Female" for "I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me."

"Sea of Heartbreak," a cover of the country classic popularized by Don Gibson, is the only track eligible for a 2010 nomination as it was released on August 25th, several days before the August 31st deadline. The List was released by Manhattan Records on October 6th, 2009, and will be eligible for consideration next year.

Cash's first-ever covers album, The List is a collection of 12 classic songs she selected from a list of "100 Essential Country Songs" that her legendary father Johnny Cash gave her when she was a teenager. The album has earned widespread praise from media outlets across the country, including NPR Music, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, the Associated Press, USA Today, Time, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, People, the Los Angeles Times, Billboard, Elle, Paste, Relix, American Songwriter, and the San Francisco Chronicle.

Jennifer Aniston

For over ten years Jennifer has been on the cover of hair styles magazines either as the main cover model, or in an inset picture.

Indeed she has been featured more than any other famous woman. Jen is the choice of beauty editors because she is the favorite of the people.

There were a few years at the turn of the century when it seemed there wasn't a single issue of the top hairstyles magazines without Jen on the cover.

One hair magazine, in fact, asked women what kind of hairstyles they wanted to wear, and one category was "anything Jennifer Aniston is wearing."

That speaks volumes to her fame and consistency. For many years she has had hair styles that are worth copying and avoided bad haircuts altogether. She simply hasn't made any mistakes. Even the haircuts Jen had that she didn't really personally like, other ladies liked.

Steven Spielberg

Steven Spielberg has withdrawn from “Harvey.” He spent the past half year developing the pic, his first directing vehicle for the reconstituted DreamWorks.

Spielberg delivered the news this week to 20th Century Fox, which had earmarked soundstages on the lot for an early 2010 production start. Fox had agreed to have DreamWorks finance 50% of production through its new funding relationship with Reliance, and either distribute domestically or internationally through its arrangement with Disney.

Pic — an adaptation of Mary Chase’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play about a man who befriends a six and a half foot tall invisible rabbit — has been a challenge to pull together since Spielberg committed last August. One of the biggest challenges has been setting a star to play Elwood P. Dowd, the character played by James Stewart in the 1950 film.

Spielberg’s first choice was Tom Hanks, but the actor who is often regarded as a modern day Stewart wanted no part of taking over a role played by the iconic star. Spielberg and Fox spent several months courting Robert Downey Jr. While the star didn’t commit, he made suggestions on rewrites of the Jonathan Tropper script. He and Spielberg never found themselves in creative sync on the script, and the director finally called the whole thing off.

A spokesman confirmed Spielberg’s exit, but wasn’t specific about the reason.

The development is certainly a disappointment for Fox, partly because the project’s trajectory last summer was so dramatic. 20th topper Tom Rothman got the script from his Fox 2000 execs Elizabeth Gabler and Carla Hacken, showed it to Spielberg, and had a yes within days.

Fox 2000 will continue working on “Harvey” and could re-approach Spielberg and Downey.

It wasn’t immediately clear which picture Spielberg will direct instead. He completed production last March on “The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn,” and though he has been preoccupied with Stacey Snider in launching the new DreamWorks and godfathering projects like “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” Spielberg is itching to direct the first film for his new partners at Reliance.

There are several homegrown candidates — he’s got such projects at the Abraham Lincoln Civil War film scripted by his “Munich” writer Tony Kushner, and the Jeff Nathanson-scripted “The 39 Clues,” but it’s clear that Spielberg will be reading a lot of scripts over the holidays.

The Reliance-backed DreamWorks made its first green light, the Shawn Levy-directed Hugh Jackman-starrer “Real Steel.”

BRITNEY Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, was playing doting dad yesterday with his sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Federline, who is in Melbourne with his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, took his two young sons to the Melbourne Aquarium.

The family had a back-of-house penguin tour, as well as a glass-bottom boat tour.

"Their favourite part of the tour was the Fish Bowl where they saw the massive sharks," a source said.

"They were an absolute joy to take through."

After carrying out his dad duties, Federline indulged in some more adult-oriented entertainment, spending the afternoon gambling at Crown.

He did not have the children with him.

Tiger Woods

In this magazine cover image released by US Weekly Magazine, the Dec. 14, 2009 issue of 'US Weekly' featuring Tiger Woods, is shown. The issue is available nationwide on newsstands on Friday, Dec. 4.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – With a public apology, Tiger Woods disclosed his "personal failings" and acknowledged he had "not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves."

He did not mention the allegations of an affair in Wednesday's statement, saying he would deal with "my behavior and personal failings" alone with his family.

His appeal for privacy likely won't close a shocking saga involving one of the biggest names in sport.

Rachel Uchitel, a New York nightclub hostess who has denied having an affair with Woods, had scheduled a Thursday news conference with her attorney in Los Angeles. But attorney Gloria Allred canceled that appearance Thursday morning, citing unforeseen circumstances. She earlier had planned to make a statement about Uchitel's relationship with Woods.

Last week, the National Enquirer published a story alleging the world's No. 1 golfer had been seeing Uchitel, and that they recently were together in Melbourne, where Woods competed in the Australian Masters.

Uchitel denied having an affair with Woods when contacted by The Associated Press.

In the last week, Woods has faced intense media scrutiny after a car accident outside his home in the middle of the night and sordid allegations of affairs. In a 317-word statement on his Web site Wednesday, Woods acknowledged he had "let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart."

The statement followed an Us Weekly cover story of a Los Angeles waitress claiming she had a 31-month affair with the world's No. 1 golfer. Woods' words were posted three hours after the magazine released a voice mail — provided by the waitress, Jaimee Grubbs — that Woods left on her phone three days before he rammed his Cadillac Escalade into a fire hydrant and tree outside his Florida home.

"Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions," he said on his Web site. "I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves."

The investigation into Woods' accident ended Tuesday when the Florida Highway Patrol issued a $164 citation for careless driving. The inspection of his personal life is seemingly just beginning.

Woods' career — as a golfer, a pitchman and perhaps the most recognized athlete in the world — has been largely without blemish since he turned pro at age 20.

Three of his sponsors — Nike, Gatorade and EA Sports — expressed support or commitment to Woods. Gillette said it had no plans to change its marketing programs. AT&T declined comment.

In the most critical comment from a player, Jesper Parnevik said he owed an apology to Woods' wife, Elin, a former Swedish model who once worked as a nanny for the Parnevik family.

"We probably thought he was a better guy than he is," Parnevik told the Golf Channel from West Palm Beach, Fla., where he is in the final stage of PGA Tour qualifying.

Windermere police said Woods' wife told them she smashed out the back windows of his SUV with a golf club to help get him out after he struck a fire hydrant and tree.

"I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of a 3-iron," Parnevik said, adding that he has not spoken to Woods since the accident.

"It's a private thing, of course," the Swede said. "But when you are the guy he is — the world's best athlete — you should think more before you do stuff ... and maybe not 'just do it,' like Nike says."

But other professional athletes had sympathy for Woods.

Jason Taylor walked into the Miami Dolphins' locker room and saw ESPN running a tease about Woods. He reached up and turned off the TV. "Nobody's damned business," Taylor said.

Minnesota Vikings kicker Ryan Longwell lives in the same Isleworth gated community as Woods outside Orlando, Fla., and said it was "crazy" in the neighborhood. He said his wife told him paparazzi were everywhere and helicopters hovered overhead.

"My wife is a blonde and wears sunglasses in Florida, so every time she comes out of the gate, they're snapping pictures," Longwell said. "It's a different thing than we've ever faced down there. It's certainly a new wrinkle to it.

"You just pray for his family," Longwell said. "You pray for his wife and kids. Just pray that if what's coming out is true that he can learn from it and move on."

Most players at the Chevron World Challenge — hosted by Woods, who withdrew earlier this week — offered him support, even as they were curious how he crashed his car in the wee hours of Friday morning.

"He's trying to make it as private as he can, and it's just hard, because everybody is trying to get a piece of information on really what happened," said Steve Stricker, who regularly exchanges text messages with Woods, but hasn't heard from him since the accident.

"I think his image is going to take a bit of a shot," Stricker said. "I think I'd like to see him come on TV and just pour it out a little bit and show what's happened. I don't know if that will ever happen."

In its final report released Wednesday, the Florida Highway Patrol said Woods caused $3,200 in property damage, was not wearing a seat belt and was traveling 30 mph in a 25 mph zone.

The six-page report — which did not include statements from Woods, his wife or any witnesses — said Woods' SUV rubbed up against bushes, crossed over a curb, onto a grass median and into a row of hedges before striking the fire hydrant and a tree. Damage to his Cadillac Escalade was estimated at $8,000.

Far more damaging to his image was the Us Weekly cover story.

Grubbs told the magazine she met Woods at a Las Vegas nightclub the week after the 2007 Masters — two months before Woods' wife gave birth to their first child.
